The New Star Wars series fronted by Jon Favreau starts shooting this week. Kathleen Kennedy could not be more thrilled to welcome him in this new endeavor. There are rumors that the live-action show will involve locations such as Tatooine and will take place around 3 years after Return of the Jedi. The series will premiere on Disney’s direct to consumer streaming service and will be the first live-action television for Star Wars.

There is a new series on Netflix called The Toys That Made Us where it looks back at the history of the toys we have known as a child (well if you grew up in the 1980’s) and their evolution until today. Currently there are four episodes available: Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man and G.I.Joe. My favorite episode was the one of the Star Wars toys, I had no idea there was such a struggle to bring out the toys in time.
