In the spirit of trying something new here is the first mostly soundtrack bound playlist of Outright Geekery. Being a child of the 1980’s this playlist is the music that reflected a large chunk of my childhood through films. We, of course, start off with “The Goonies”, the penultimate ‘80’s movie that means the world to me. Fratelli Chase by Dave Grusin followed by The Goonies ‘r’ Goody Enough by Cyndi Lauper.

I started watching Superman as a young child, maybe 5 or 6 years of age. And it sparked within me a lifelong love of superheroes, and all things geek. Christopher Reeve was and always will remain my Superman of choice. Reeve was the one that remains to this day engraved on my memory as the best. This of course is a personal opinion, but I believe many among us kind of stick with the person who introduced them to something the longest.
